Notice of Reappraisal

The State of Michigan recommends that assessors conduct a field review of 20% of all properties located within their jurisdiction.  In an effort to fulfill that obligation, representatives of the Oakfield Township Assessor's Office will be conducting field reviews of selected properties during the spring and summer months on an annual basis.  A field review includes verifying exterior measurements of all buildings located on a property, interior and exterior building characteristics and taking photos of building exteriors.  These field reviews will ensure that assessment are in Oakfield Township are fair and equitable.
